Session Title: Evolution of FEMINEN (Females in Engineering): Enbridge’s 1st ERG (Employee Resource Group)
The objective of this presentation is to share learnings from FEMINEN’s experience in establishing and sustaining a successful employee resource group (ERG) over the last eight years. The presentation will focus on FEMINEN's evolution from the development of its initial business case to becoming a recognized and vibrant ERG. Finally, the session will allow attendees to learn how to develop similar programs at their own organization. Some of Enbridge’s ERGs include: Connect (for next generation professionals), EDGE (for Ethnically Diverse Groups of Employees), Females in Engineering (FEMINEN), Indigenous Employee Resource Group (IERG), Prism Energy (for lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirited and transgender employees), and last but not least, Women@Enbridge.
