100 Years of Engineering - Women Engineers and Geoscientists at the Forefront of a New World
The many challenges of 2020 have changed the way we work, live and think of the world we live in. As we celebrate 100 years of Engineering, WES is committed to providing a message of hope and actionable strategies to help women lean in and realize the opportunities that lie ahead.
Featuring an inspiring keynote from the accomplished and adventurous Natalie Panek, aerospace engineer, former NASA intern, and recognized Forbes 30 under 30, the 2020 Women in Engineering Summit will provide participants and leaders with strategies to:
√ Recognize and acknowledge unconscious bias and create a safe workplace for all identities;
√ Quickly foresee and respond to change; and
√ Build resiliency as women in a profession with unbalanced gender representation
An expert panel discussing diversity, equity, inclusion and Engineers Canada 30 by 30 initiative closes this one-day catalyst for change and opportunity.
